I had the opportunity to create the graphic identity for Hello Pity, a Berlin-based noise rock band signed to Duchess Box Records. Over five years, this collaboration has evolved alongside the band's musical journey, incorporating techniques like collage, glitch effects, and 3D design. Each single’s visual atmosphere was crafted to reflect the band’s sound, with the intention of adapting the artwork for merchandise as well. This long-term project has resulted in a unique, edgy aesthetic that perfectly embodies Hello Pity’s raw energy and creative vision.

As a specialized designer and photographer for the music industry, my expertise lies in creating outstanding album cover artwork, tailored for both print and streaming platforms. Each project involves a meticulous approach, ensuring that the illustration harmonizes seamlessly with the music while being versatile enough for use on t-shirts, merchandise, Spotify Canvas, and promotional video clips.
To achieve this, I often blend my creations with experimental tools and vintage techniques like scanning, painting, and collage, adding a unique and enthralling touch to the final artwork. Alongside the graphic work on the album, the band wanted each single to have its own atmosphere. The album cover art for the single 'John' of Hello Pity – is an example of a visually captivating creation tailored for dynamic video content. Crafted to accompany promotional efforts on social networks and Spotify Canvas, this artwork merges harmoniously with the music and the videoclip, offering a surprising experience to the audience.
